You have probably seen Ed Travers at one time or another! From Nassau County to Suffolk County, The Nautical Mile to the Hamptons, on Fire Island, in the Jones Beach parking lot before a Jimmy Buffett show, at restaurants and bars, at the Bradstock Festival, weddings and other private parties, Ed has been entertaining people for over 30 years. Ed has always been known for his wide variety of musical taste, performing hits from the 60's through today. However, Ed and his band have most recently become known as one of Long Islands premiere Jimmy Buffett tribute bands! Ed is a proud member of The Metro Parrot Head Club and is involved in a variety of events through the club. He and his band have brought a taste of Margeritaville to the Patchogue and Bellport bandshells and the streets of Sayville during their annual "Evening In Margeritaville". Ed and his band are often involved in benefits for individuals as well as with the USO, a few years ago organizing the first annual USO Care Package Drive For The Troops at the Patchogue Theatre.
Ed was signed up as the Spokesman for Land Shark Beer (Anheiser Bsch Distributor) last summer. Ed continues to perform about 25 dates for them during the summer, some solo and some with the Band! More to come, we'll keep you posted! Until then, stock up!

The musicians at The Snapper Inn are usually very good, but last time I was here a truly outstanding performer entertained us with his excellent singing, guitar playing, and sense of humor.
Left: Ed Travers. If you ever see this guy fooling around with a guitar, stick around, you won't be disappointed.
Ed Travers of the Ed Travers Band played all afternoon almost nonstop. Even during his humorous commentary between songs Ed’s guitar just kept on going.
And his segues were so good I sometimes found myself wondering when the song changed.
The live music ends sometime in the late afternoon, maybe 6 or 7pm, and by that time I’m ready for dinner. If the weather is nice I’ll stay outside and enjoy a meal on the water. On cooler days or during the winter I’ll enjoy my dinner inside in one of the nautically themed dining rooms.
